Well, it's not Monday, but it is wash day. We've had some really windy, rainy weather. I guess I would say "typhoonish". It's finally sunny and drier so my neighbors and I are doing our laundry. This is a photo of the apartments behind us, the view from my washing machine.
The photo below shows just how easy it is to wash clothes in Chinese. We also have a dryer, wait maybe I should call it a fluffer. It would take hours to dry anything, but it does kind of fluff them before I hang them on our balcony to dry. Usually, the air is so still and the humidity so high that it takes quite awhile to dry there too.
I hope you realize how good you have it in the states!
I am enjoying the adventure but, I must say I am happy I have a home to go to in the states.

I don't know why but I totally giggled that the only word I can read on your washer it's Fuzzy. just made me laugh. ;-)
ReplyDeleteIsn't that hilarious? And it is so helpful. It means there is a little bag that catches the fuzzies....lint. Big deal!
ReplyDeleteOur team has a "spinner" they put the clothes through to get as much water out of the as possible before they hang them up...maybe you have a posh washer that does that step for you. ;) Love the updates!
