It was an exciting day on our street on Tuesday. I was sitting on our balcony when I noticed some odd traffic patterns, a guy shouting something to someone out of my line of vision and then a large gathering of people across the street. Soon it became clear that they were doing some kind filming right in front of our apartment. Apparently, this happens often because we have such a quaint street without so much traffic. Maybe it was a soap opera segment, very popular in China, or movie or commercial. I had a great seat to watch, but of course I wanted to get closer.
Our guard let me stand in their office so I could get a couple photos. Pretty cool to see the intensity in this guy's face.
The guy on the far left is the actor as well as those two children. I so wished I could have spoken Chinese because I would have loved to gawked along with my neighbors. At least my neighbor lady and I could communicate, "Isn't he hot???" without words.
