A few nights ago we were reading when I heard fireworks exploding and they sounded close! I hustled over to our kitchen window to see them exploding in our parking lot! I think someone wa celebrating a marriage. I had seen some red carpet in front of one of the buildings earlier in the day. But it might have been celebrating getting a new job or something like that. But they were spectacular!
They just kept going and going. I couldn't help but think of the nice cars that are parked in this lot. Yet another reason to not have a car in China.
These two appear to be the pyro technicians.

These empty fireworks boxes were in the parking lot the next day. Now, why didn't I think to celebrate our anniversary by hiring those guys?
