Back in China

 

I've never gone to China via Detroit and it's been a long time since I have had a window seat so this trip was pretty entertaining.  The biggest surprise was heading straight north out of Detroit.  I guess this is one of the Great Lakes. 



 

I don't know where I was when this beautiful sight appeared but it certainly reminded me of the movie "Frozen" and I am a little tired of being frozen.  Surprisingly, or maybe not so surprisingly our apartment is much colder than our house in Owatonna.  We don't have central heating so you heat where you are and wear layers.  Sitting in the sun on the balcony this morning was delightful.

 

 

Just when I thought, what could I see new this time, they started trimming the trees across the street.  I really want one of those bamboo ladders.  Our windows here are so filthy and no way to wash them.  I was wondering if they would let me borrow one on their lunch break.
