This city has become so Westernized that you can get about any kind of food you want. They don't make it exactly like you're expecting sometimes but you can get some amazing food here. I'm just comparing a couple things today.
Delicious, healthful, full of antioxidants, lychee fruit
like many of the fruits the Chinese enjoy, you take your time and savor them.
Or you can have a big old piece of chocolate cake down at Simon's Café.
(Only because I was celebrating my birthday.)
The cake here is really light. I think they only bake for Westerners. When David first came to China you could hardly find anything baked. Now, there are a lot of sandwich shops around.
so interesting to see changes like that in just a rather short period of time. cake looks yummy!
